I just feel like the city is the perfect representation of everything I (and most humans, I presume, love): There's art, there's music, there's fashion, there's architecture, there's food, there's nature, there's people…Paris has a little bit of everything, for everyone. And even if you're not really a fan of any of those things I've listed, you'll still likely find out something to fall in love with within the city. Ok... I was raised with the first OT vhs box set (pre-extended version) and then saw the prequels in theaters as an adult. Both trilogies were a part of my childhood and early adult life that never went away. As I've gotten older, I realize that I love it for more than the action or sci-fi. It's how romantic and gripping it can be. IMO, the more operatic a SW thing is, the more I love it. That goes for humor and cheesy stuff as well. I love the idea of science fantasy. Others have tried it but their world always seems too much one or the other. But that's also a problem with Star Wars. Imo most writers minimize the fantasy aspect and focus on the science fiction aspect. It's led many people to believe Jedi have a drop down menu of Force powers they can use, and the spirituality aspect of the Force is largely ignored. Howdy! I’ve been “doing music” for the vast majority of my life. That included performing, composing, arranging, conducting, teaching, and learning from even a young age.  I took up guitar because my cool older cousin played in a band. My older brother did as well. I spent a lot of time with my instrument, finally beating my older brother in something. I fell into the punk/hardcore scene and spent life touring and playing shows. I loved it. I eventually got really into jazz and went to university for guitar. Kinda fell out of love with my instrument. But I found myself being asked to arrange music for other people. Then write music for them. I eschewed life on the road and on stage for a quiet life at the score book and in front of the computer. I once again felt at home. I finally realized that I grew into my new love. Composing. It was like realizing you were in love with your lifelong best friend. And we’ve been together ever since. The unforgettable sound effects, the hum of lightsabers, and the immersive world-building sparked something in me that never faded.  For over 20 years, l've been passionate about crafting sound that transforms visuals into experiences.
